DJI Go should retain different settings for Video and Stills, goes for the I1 and X5 too.
and not only that you capture more data, a 4:3 raw file is around 40MB and a 16:9 is around 30MBYou also need to set the aspect ratio in Camera Settings to 4:3, as that is the shape of sensor in X5S. Unlike P4P and X4S which is 3:2. But if the final print is going to be of a different proportion you will end up cropping your 4:3 photo anyway.
That is only because 16:9 is using part of the sensor whereas 4:3 is using the entire sensor.and not only that you capture more data, a 4:3 raw file is around 40MB and a 16:9 is around 30MB
yes , i thought that was already covered.just not the data qty sideThat is only because 16:9 is using part of the sensor whereas 4:3 is using the entire sensor.
The lesser data qty is only due to the crop factor of 16:9.yes , i thought that was already covered.just not the data qty side
the same as you stated 2 posts ago, we get it!The lesser data qty is only due to the crop factor of 16:9.
So, why are you keep on bringing it up??the same as you stated 2 posts ago, we get it!
Hi there, when you say you use 25mm or 45mm does that mean you use different lens' on the I2 , other than the one that came with it to get such a great picture. I have taken stills while filming and when zoomed in they dont look as good as that amazing picture of yours. What size is the lens that comes with the I2. Appreciate your thoughts.I have the I2 X5S & I1 X5.
Stills 4:3 I use the 25mm or 45mm and enlarge to 40x60 inches on metal and have gone to 12ftX40ft on wall art.
Thank you for the reply, I appreciate it. But my main and most important question was how to take 20mp with the X5S. To be honest the large photo is secondary.
Good morning , can I ask , is this comment directed at me?Gooood, not again please! It is trivially simple, so which part of it you are unable to grasp?
Thank you very much Donnie, that makes a lot of sense. I am waiting for a Panasonic Lumix G PZ 4-42 mm lens. Coupled with the sensor at the back I would presume that would give me great 20mp photos.@Donnie Frank , for the X4S and X7, yes there are three 16:9, 4:3 and 2:3. - the 2:3 is the full sensor readout, the other two ratios crop the readout slightly.
For the X5S, there are only two aspect ratios, 16:9 and 4:3. The 4:3 is the full sensor readout on the X5S.
