So not being a meteorologist or a Bonnerville Salt Lakes Speed racer I really don't know the best ideal conditions to get a good speed run.
I just got 55 mph with legs down at 3 in the aft noon temp 107 degrees full sun and only a 4 mph tail wind. Elevation 750 ft. So what conditions are you guys in to get 20 mph greater than me ?

I've hit 33/ms over a local park when the winds were RIDICULOUS. Flying back to me, it was barely moving.

Thing WILL haul azz downwind.. that is for sure...
And it's a slightly faster breeze at 400ft up then at 200ft up...
Just make sure it can claw it's way upwind back to you...
I was sweating bullets a week ago when it was crawling back upwind at only 12.5 mph maxed out...
I'll have to remember that gear down trick...

Strong tailwind, went 82.4 with the wind and only about 15 against it, lol
