No - power to weight ratio wouldn't allow it.
This idea has been around for quite a few years so this guy really hasn't invented or showing anything new and has been shown of at TED lectures
The astounding athletic power of quadcopters

It has always been a light power to weight ratio quad though and a lightweight airframe.
The Inspire (1 or 2) just doesn't have the thrust available at the remaining three corners to pull this off.

Pity though.

I guess drone manufacturers have opted for longest possible flight times and I’m sure you have to sacrifice individual motor weight (enough power to maintain flight on 3 = more weight per motor). Similar to cars these days, marketing is all about miles per gallon.
