Think I've seen elsewhere on the net that the pics are from some old prototype I2's, not new ones.

Thats pretty cool, would like to find out more info on these. Would be a pretty cool upgrade. Thats one of the things I'm most nervous about when doing POI shots.

This is an old prototype sent to DJI insiders and employee beta testers prior to I2 release last year It was never implemented and never will be.

Well. I agree with all of you guys. I believe it's a PT. Because I couldn't find any new updated information about it.
I think 100% we will see this on the Inspire 3.

Agreed...but will have the DJI classic statement next to its explanation in the I3 manual: “*coming soon”

This is obviously planed upgrade by DJI. Like you see on PCB on top, she have soldering pads for components and connectors for side and rear sensors that is mounted on new PCB. This is probably one of Insire 2 PRO advantages over standard model, and soon we can expect new 2 PRO on market
