Yeah I expect so. The TP are also a bit more mah and lighter though I think than the MS.

21 min and a bit are still better than 12-15 min... which is not enough... is it?

I am using Ralph's set up with max battery , flew almost 30 with x3

That's not hovering , flew with 5to6 mph wind . I would spend the money for Ralph's Max amp batteries

I use MaxAmp batteries in a single setup. What is the capacity of the ones you are using?

Currently I'm using 2000 mA. I just ordered some 1850 from Ralph relapse

Thinking some more on this, I'm thinking the X5R with its high speed SSD is just really power hungry (and it's heavier). I definitely need to go lighter on batteries.

Perhaps try the 2700's, and perhaps my 2200's next.

Might also try stock plastic props for good measure. Steeper pitched 14-inch CF props may be eating extra power at sea level that I'm at.

I think if I can get 25min with the X5R I'll be extremely happy.

Maybe you should asked Ralph at fly high USA , so far he has not steered me wrong with answers , I think the lighter bstteries will work better , not so much weight added on the inspire
