Does anyone know if you can use an iPhone 16 pro max with the inspire 1 drone and Dji go app. I’ve tried a cabled connection with usb-c to usb-a and a micro-usb to usb-c . My phone seems to reconize it as a power source. Is this worth any more effort or should I just get a device that will work. I got the drone for free from a family member so I don’t really have anything in it yet. But seems like it’s still worth flying. The batteries are good too. Any help is appreciated thanks !

If I recall, I CAN use a Gen 3 iPad 12.9" with my Inspire using a legacy version of the Go App. The Gen 3 has a Thunderbolt interface. So I don't think it's the hardware. If I recall, it's running iOS 12. So the issue may be with your iOS version.

i hooked a samsung a14 to it last week and had no issues at all if something comes up will let you know i paid 60 for it on ebay and it works good with litchi mission hub
Anyone has success with iOS 15.8 working . My app won’t reconize my remote on my iPad mini 4 . Should be compatible. Starting to think my radio might be bad. Can’t even get the radio to bind with the inspire 1 through manual binding. Any ideas ?
If this can help I'm using an iPhone with the latest 18 iOS with DJI Go without any issue, sorry let me rectify this, it's fantastic!!

Yes. iOS 17.6.1 on a Gen 3 iPad (Thunderbolt™ interface). I'm successfully running a legacy version of the Go App, v3.1.1.

If you mean a genuine Apple cable, I have found that good, brand-name, third-party Lighting™ cables work better than the Apple offerings. Hard to imagine that the most expensive cables, which are the Apple cables, have such a high failure rate. I've had a bunch of them fail. IMHO, they're junk.

By the way I have just purchased a 1ft short Anker cable from amazon, it should fit perfectly without leaving spare cable from remote to phone
Thanks for sharing, I had the weak image message nearly all time recently. I sprayed with contact cleaner the 2 gray mounting cables that go to gimbal. Perfect now.
Do any of you use AirData with your IOS device? I’m using a iPad Mini 6 that works great with DJI Go and my Inspire 1 but when I attempt to use AirData to keep track of my flight logs. It will not sync. I’ve tried looking for the DJI Go folder to link the flight logs that way, but no luck. I can only sync my logs with I use an Android device. Any ideas besides installing and reinstalling apps? Let me know. Thanks!
