Even when compared to the GH4 footage, the Inspire's 4k footage looks pretty good to me!
Hmmm....I actually thought the Inspire footage was pretty sparsely interleaved in that comparison, and the footage that was there looked jerky and of noticeably lower quality than the GH4. And that was at night.
If DJI truly picked apart the guts of a GoPro 4 and is using the same Sony-made sensor in their Inspire1 camera as is rumored, I wonder if they could do the same with a higher end camera. Or simply partner with a high-end camera manufacturer and create an Inspire1 camera + gimbal for high-end use.
Zoom is worthless on craft ;for still photography you would need pretty high speed camera setting to get sharp image and for video ,any slide panning will end up as big smear .
