Firmware fiasco - blue tail light - bricked I2

So I was having problems taking off (which I later realized was because I had a custom unlock license activated which needed to be turned off) and at the time was getting the suggestion to update the fly safe database which I've always avoided... I update it and lose image to my X5S. I then try to do firmware downgrades and upgrades and thought I got everything working ok, but later the drone won't connect. Won't connect to my RC, won't connect to my tablet with a cable, won't connect to my computer / DJI Assistant 2.

It's in landing mode, shows the blinking yellow light of not being connected to the RC and when I try to enter travel mode i just get a blue solid tail light and the power button blinks.... heeelp.
 
I know this is of no help, but I have to ask. Is DJI no longer supporting their flagship drone? I remember the days when the forums were my last resort. Nowadaze, it seems like it's the Inspire 2 owners' first line of defense. Is DJI already not supporting the Inspire 2?
