The movies “The Hustler” (1961), starring Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason, and “The Color of Money” (1986), starring Paul Newman and Tom Cruise, were huge hits and made a lot of money for the pool/billiards industry. “Comparatively, the reality television series “Rack 'N' Roll America” will hit the pool/billiards industry a hundred times harder”, says film producer Michael Lafrinere. “It really will be the American Idol of pool”.

For some reason I doubt that, but good luck with the show hope it gets picked up

Will this be aerial or mostly ground based production?

All ground. Although we began with all aerial, we started doing more and more ground filming along the way. Inside Pool Magazine saw what we were doing and the quality that we were putting out, and then called us to talk about filming some pool tournaments for them. After MANY discussions, we ended up deciding to do the reality show instead. It is a major upgrade in production for us, but everything seemed to just fall into place for us rather quickly. There is a LOT more to the story, but that's the short of it.
