For anyone considering this case, I just got it for WAY cheaper through Amazon plus free shipping with Prime.

226 for the waterproof one. I don't see how anyone would buy something not waterproof when there's the option.

Did you cut out a slot for the SSD?
I've found since it's so easy to get the Bird in and out like a phantom, I've found myself forgetting to insert the SSD on a couple occasions, so was stuck with H.264 footage only, ughhh

Yes I just used a sharp knife to cut away the foam till I got the space needed. Here is a video from my last outing -

yes i believe so. Theres a section for an ipad mini, so i don't see why you couldn't use that space.
