Hiya group!

I've been using Litchi with my P4 for a while, and found it to be invaluable for pre-planning waypoint missions prior to shooting. I've recently upgraded to an Inspire 1 RAW, which is currently blowing my mind - but I'm trying to figure out if it is possible for the master controller to run my Litchi missions and still use the slave controller to control the camera with the second operator during the missions.

I have the two controllers set up and the dual mode works great with DJI GO, but I have yet to figure out if it's possible to run the camera with the other controller? Would I have the DJI GO app up? Or the Litchi App? Does Litchi have a function to tie the two together like DJI GO?

Or should I pair the two controllers in DJI GO, turn off DJI GO on the master controller and load Litchi?

Any suggestions will result in generous compliments!
ex. "Hey - where'd you get that killer tie!!"

Thank you!
Josh

Josh,

I tried Litchi on the slave with GO on the master several times.
The other way around I have never tested.

Why stay in GO? After the checklist and camera settings, just exit GO and start Litchi for both controllers. Unless you have a IOS device on the main, you would need an extra licence. That's why I tried GO/IOS for master and Litchi/Android for the slave. That worked fine. Controlling the camera in Litchi was just like with the GO app after I did the settings first in GO.

Thanks lake_flyer! What keen shoes you've chosen today!

My apologies - I'm running an iPad on both devices.

1. If I set up the camera settings in GO (which I actually like better than Litchi), do I leave GO running on the devices, or do I turn it off and start Litchi?

2. Can I control the inspire with GO on the master and LITCHI on the slave? I thought It had to be the other way around for the Inspire to fly the waypoint missions?

3. If I have Litchi open on both controllers, will Litchi allow me to control the camera separately using the sticks?

THANK YOU for taking the time to help me figure this out!

Cheers,
Josh

I think I might have answered my own question!

I deleted and reinstalled both DJI GO and LITCHI, re-associated the master/slave controller relationship in DJI GO (which allowed the slave controller to control the camera), then turned OFF DJI GO on the master controller and loaded a mission in Litchi - and the slave controller with GO still controlled the camera!

I've got to go fly it and make sure it works in the air, but I can't imagine why it wouldn't at this point - will update this thread if it didn't work! So nice of DJI and Litchi to play nice together.

Thanks everyone!
