Hey! I have purchased an Inspire 2 with the X5S camera and 15mm DJI lens. As I work as a real estate photographer I take photos of peoples houses for sale... I have done 3 test object and is very unhappy.

I send the drone up and take some pictures from 4-5 different angles. Focus-tap and push the button on the app to take the pictures. Using AEB 5-pictures, so it fires away..
Landing and looking at the pictures when I´m home. From 5 different angles, there are only 2-3 saved on the memory card. 4 AEB from that angle and 2 is out of focus... Tap-focus every time before I took the pictures.

The app shows/sounds every time that the focus has been set and the rattling noise when the pictures are taken is heard.

This happens every time for me. What have I´m done wrong? Or is it some issue with the drone or app?
Is there anyone else out there with this issue? Any fix?

Using Sandisk Extreme Pro 32GB U3 mSD-card.. if that is important.

Hi DaBone, I hope we can get your issues resolved. And will start with the basics, any time you shut the I2 off the AEB will automatically revert to single shot. So if you had replaced batteries or shut the system down you will be back in single shot mode.

If you are seeing 4 AEB photos and 2 are out of focus I would question what your shutter speed is or if the I2 was moving during the AEB capture. Can you share what your exposure settings and shooting modes you were in when you are taking the photos?

I would also suggest that you bring a laptop with you to look at the photos/video you captured on site to prevent having to return in case you experience what you have been. You can also preview the images while all systems are still on by selecting the playback arrow on the lower right of the screen.

I have noticed that AEB goes back to single shot, when restarting the drone ..

Maybe I was unclear or bad English, since it's not my language ...
Will try to explain a little more clearly. My last project..

I start and send the drone to the first position. Has chosen AEB and takes 5 pictures. Positioning the drone and take an AEB a bit higher up from the same angle.
Relocate to another angle and takes a third AEB, goes down a bit and takes a 4th AEB. Relocate to the next angle and takes an AEB and then on to a 4th angle and an AEB. Now flying above the object and taking an AEB straight from above.
Going down and landing ..

There is 7 AEB photos from 5 angles...

The pictures from this shot looked like this.
1. Not saved
2. Not saved
3. Saved and sharp
4. Saved and blurry
5. Saved and blurry
6. Saved and sharp
7. Not saved

3 angles saved and 2 AEB:s that I can use to HDR... Each time I took the photos, I received confirmation that the focus was set and that the pictures were taken.

Searched around a bit and found a thread on another forum, with one that has similar problems like me.
Inspire 2 X5S not saving pictures to the SD card

@DaBone I'm having the same problem, did you find a solution or reason? I shot in two locations today. None of the pics from the first location are on memory card.

No, have not found any real solution to the problem.

What I do is I focus twice and look at the ring around the "trigger" in the app, which circulates when taking pictures.
If I only focus once, then the images are often not saved and there is no circulation around the shutter button.

A few days ago, I had another problem, which I had less often. It was improved after a FW update.
Were on a photo assignment and took 24 pictures. 4 of them were sharp, 20 were out of focus. I tap the focus and got the
focus confirmation on each picture. Usually taking 3 pictures of each place I want a picture, just to be sure.
A couple of hours earlier I had been to another job where everyone was okay..
Had to go 150km the next day and take the pictures again. This time they were all ok..

Also still have the drifting gimbal/horizon.

In my opinion I bought a 8k dollar pile of junk..

I also am having the tilted gamble problem, and I never did before. I’m thinking DJI has bugs every time they release software and this is the newest one. I do need to update software so I’ll see if this problem goes away. The picture I lost were important. Probably lost $2k in revenue.

Did you ever resolve this ? I have an Inspire 2 X5s doing the same thing
