Friday I completed all updates to my Inspire 1, including aircraft, camera, RC and my spare battery. Today I received my new battery and first thing I did was charge and then updated the firmware. All seemed ok until I turned on the app. It told me that the aircraft needed firmware an update. The app told me the aircraft firmware was at 1.6.0.40. Reformatted the stick and put the 1.7.0.90 .bin file on it and into the camera. Got this as a result: Any Ideas???

Result: Success.

Same issue here Jimmer. I was thinking that perhaps DJI bumped a switch at mission control. But seriously, I just got a new TB47 - w19ada26010563 and up until I installed that TB47 in the i1 this afternoon, all read as it should as I updated everything before the weekend with updates on 5 other batteries as well and all was well. To double check I went so far as using a different ipad/dji go app (both uptdate), re-downloaded the firmware from the dji site and put it on the sd and it still read that I needed an AC update. I will see if it goes back to not saying I need an aircraft update when I put one of my other batteries in the i1. Dinner calls.

I tried one of the original batteries. No difference.

As @The Editor has repeatedly posted, 1.7.0.90 only updated the X3 camera (mainly for I1 and OSMO compatibility) and NOT the aircraft. Therefore, there will be a difference in the aircraft and camera version numbers.

The last firmware that updated the batteries was 1.5. The files for the battery should be included in subsequent updates including 1.7.

If you had previously updated your batteries, 1.7.0.90 should have no effect and you will get the log report your posted. The first entry in the successful update, all the others are telling you that you are already updated and there would be no effect. You need to remove the .bin file for the MicroSD card (by deleting on your computer or reformatting).
