Just installed Flickert’s motor mount reinforcement braces on my I2 today. As he was gracious enough to print them and ship them to me for a modest fee.
Definitely worth the price for some more peace of mind. Very easy install! They look great on the bird! Only thing I added, was some 3M padded tape inside each bracket. Poof!! peace of mind......

Thank you for the post! I would suggest just a single wrap of electrical tape around the arm and motor mount for any others if this is of concern. This appears to be stretching out the braces a bit.
I didn't use a thought of a foam tape as that would "isolate" the braces from the arm itself, which could cause a lot of rubbing / vibrations between the brace and arm/motor mount. Although this did give me an idea. I will report back to the thread when I do some testing.
