Olympus 12mm vs DJI's 15mm weight/Balance

First flight with the new 12mm. At the recommendation of B&H Foto, I added a lens hood (Olympus LH48) to offset the weight difference. Also had a UV lens as well at their suggestion. I got a "Gimbal Overload" message and the camera dropped down, pointing to the ground. Do I have too much forward weight or not enough? Thanks in advance. The 12mm is great, btw. Really like it a lot.

Ah, did you balance the lens properly? I have the Olympus 2, 25, 40 and had to balance each one. Gimbal overload is directly related to balance. I get mine so there is ever so slight nose down and have had no problems.

Thanks for the reply. Dumped the lens hood and the 12mm is level now with just a modest UV lens. Works like a charm. Thanks! I was freaking out just a bit.

Does the 12 call for a balance ring. How's the weight compared to the 15
