"ssd recording failed to start"

This is what I have been getting as a warning on my I2. I have the activation keys setup up correctly. It happens from the first time I hit record to the last time I hit record. I don't think it is an overheating issue. The SD card "will" record but the ssd will not. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
 
Try the following:

  1. Reformat the SSD card in the aircraft. Some SSD cards don't work first time out of the box without being formatted in your aircraft.
  2. Make sure there is an sd card inserted with plenty of free space on it. Reformat that too if necessary. The SSD will not record if the sd card is missing, or has run out of free space.
  3. Make sure you have selected the SSD recording format, and that the SSD is enabled.
  4. Make sure there is not a $ sign behind the format you've selected to record... if there is, then the license key needs reloading via Assistant 2.
