strong interference warnings with new firmware?

Has anyone else experienced strong interference warnings with the newest i2 firmware. Every flight since the new firmware update, in different environments, city, rural, with different iOS devices, I've received strong interference warnings. Any ideas?

I have to say the new firmware has been buggy at best. I've had app freezes , video lag, issues with the craft not landing. the above mentioned interference warnings, seems like flight is less stable (probably need to calibrate IMU etc for that one). none of which i had previously. it was rock solid before the latest firmware.....

Yes, I've had them pop up. Turned the tablet onto airplane mode and they stopped appearing.

These have only appeared with the new firmware... 50+ hrs flight time without them beforehand, and one location which has 3 or more wifi networks nearby has previously never given a warning in over a year's flying, installed the firmware and its whinging about interference now :( another 70hrs on a Phantom 4 in the same locations and never had a warning.

Quite honestly I'm fed up of Dji go's 'warnings' - interference, high wind, right dial locked.... they're a nuisance and pointless distraction and their threshold's seem to be set waaay too low :(

Yup - Nannying at its best.
I know of two guys now who have got so fed up with the whole DJI restrictions and pointless warnings that they have completely ditched everything DJI and are happily flying other platforms with no restrictions whatsoever.
The thing is, as a professional/commercial operator you know exactly where you should and should not be and what to do to gain all the permissions to allow a flight in controlled airspace.
None of us need to be hand held and stopped from flying anywhere by some overzealous app that has been badly coded.
The migration away from DJI equipment has already started!.....

Yes, far too many notices! Must waste a minute in GO just reading and trying the "X" them off. That incessant "Press right knob for camera control" is ridiculous!

If my car had that many notices popping up on the display (Newer cars are getting worse, like no volume knob but only a touch-screen volume button only!), I'd crashed it into something by now.

Wish I could turn them off in GO somewhere. Okay, the nix the **** DJI Spark ads, movies, and photos that pop up in my photo gallery with each GO version update too!

I refreshed the firmware for the RC and i2 , deleted and reinstalled the dji go 4 app. so far the interference warnings have gone away after first round of testing.

the right dial locked warning is the most useless bit of information..... what are they thinking..... and the quiz come on.....

Oh yeah quite annoying when I’m in 2.4 so I switch to 5ghz

flew again today and no interference warnings , hopefully reloading the app and firmware solved the issue, not sure which actually did it, so far so good after three rounds of testing ;)

Well said, Ed.
The addition of the Department of Homeland Security's report regarding concerns that DJI is sharing flight data with the Chinese Government is worrisome to say the least -- even assuming for a moment that the alleged facts in the report are only partially true (and I have no data either way). See https://www.suasnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/DHS-DJI-memo.pdf for the actual report.

It' going to take a class action. Against DJI to allow us the customer to do what we want with these Drones we spend so much money on. It' crazy you kick out 10,000 for a drone and all the bells and whistles to get it up and going but yet DJI for the life of the Drone they tell you what and when about the use of it. They loose more money with a class action maybe they will leave us alone and open up this market so
Everyone can enjoy it

weird first few times i flew the interference warnings were gone, now their back on the 5th flight in the same location. ill have to pay attention if its using different RF channels or something.

Yeah, whats strange is that it started happening to me after a firware update on my I2, but it is also now doing it on my PH4P and I have not done the update. Very odd indeed.

I read in the report that Homeland Security accuse DJI of releasing details of users of DJI products to the Chinese government.
I guess they need to deflect attention away from what the US government is doing with CALEA, eh?
... Microsoft, Apple, Google, Cisco, US Banks ... all this customer data worldwide is already intercepted by the US ...

Glad to hear some options for addressing the interference issue - flew one day fine, then at the same location the next day had warnings all the time - very frustrating. No issues with interference with the P3P at the same location/time. Will try reinstalling everything. Thanks!
