Vertical speed low

2 days ago I was flying my Inspire, with latest firmware, and coudn't get vertical speed over 2.5 m/s while flying forward.
Throttle stick to 100%.
Is that limitation in new firmware? Or something else?
Does anyone has similar expirience?

Flying forward how fast? How much wind? Can be perfectly normal depending on conditions. Some of the power that would be used to go up if stationary has to go to moving instead.

I've heard through several forums it's new firmware, along with the motor speed limits

I thought I was imagining it since I don't have a huge amount of hours on this Inspire but the descent rate has gone down drastically since the recent software upgrade. I hope I don't have to ever conduct an emergency decent.

I'm on 1.8 works better than the newer one an my go app is at 2.7.1
