image.jpg This would be for exact pilot app screen mirroring in the goggles, otherwise id just use the hdmi out on the back of the controller. I found this . You would need another cheap male usb to female micro usb adapter.
assuming it would actually work. What do you guys think?

There are not usually outputs on the same side as inputs ..

The outputs are VGA / HDMI, so I do not see how you get the signal to the tablet.
I could be wrong, but that's my experience of adapters.

I think I might buy the part just to see if it works. Now that I take a closer look you don't need the Micro USB adapter it already is micro USB

It won't work. The port on the phone/tablet can usually only do either MHL/HDMI or USB, but not both at the same time. The USB that comes out of the adapter is there only to power the adapter and hold the phone's charge.

AFAIK only Samsung phones have a different connector and hardware capable of doing both at the same time, but... when they do the USB port is in host mode (so you can connect a screen and keyboard/mouse), and for the Inspire we would need it in device mode.
