Will Inspire 1 remote link to Phantom 4?

Phantom 4 battery will not hold a charge. Replaced it and still same results. Probably charging board issue? I have 2 inspire 1 master remotes (GL658C) plus 2 GL658B's laying around with great battery capacity and have tried to link. One does not and the other does with no video transmission. Just did remote firmware updates and now will not link at all.
Is there something that I am missing or is this an impossible task? thank you

RC Compatibility

Has anyone used a Inspire 1 1 controller remote to control a P4 aircraft. I know that DJI listing shows they are not compatible , but some reports I am getting from pilots said that they are. If the controller is compatible with the P4 aircraft, how do you raise and lower the landing gear...

Thanks........ I understand that they are compatible now........ The normal linking process does not work for me on 3 different remotes. not a wiz at this stuff?

Did you get the “b” or the “c” hooked up?
The “c” will be the better one to use.
