Anyone knows where I get a y-splitter cable that allows use of the Ipad mini while charging?

Have them, how can they be used while the ipad is in use flying though?

I spent the better part of the other day looking for just this type of cable and couldn't find one. I'm not sure the lightning port is that smart.
