I ordered my X5 from dji.com directly and was slammed with $35 foreign transaction fee by my credit card. It was my ignorance really, I was under the impression that the fee would only be charged if a currency conversion needs to occur, but I was charged the fee because DJI is based in Hong Kong, technically a "foreign" transaction.
Long story short, DJI has an official store on ebay if you did not know already. Same free shipping for over $150 deal as their .com store. If you use fatwallet or mrrebates you get 1% cashback plus 2% ebay bucks and whatever ebay coupon you may have, and avoid the foreign transaction fee. Seem like a much better way to go about buying direct than through .com.
