Hi guys, I sold my Inspire1 and still have a SSD to sell. I forgot to format the SSD on the Inspire which is shipped already. Unfortunately there is still some footage on the SSD. I still have a reader. Can I delete or format the SSD on my Mac with the Disk Utility before I hand it over? It should work on the Inspire after formatting off course. Many thanks

I do not think you will be able to delete the files in Disk Utility as they may not be seen. You may want to try to delete them using the Cinelight App from DJI for the X5R on your Mac. Or find someone that has an X5R locally. What is your location, we may be able to help locate someone in our Pilot Network.

sometimes a look into the manual can be helpful:
Page 4, [2] Libraries
Shows a list of connected devices (such as the X5R SSD) and your computer’s local library. Connected Devices: Displays the device’s name, read-only mode, free disk space and total disk space.
Computer: Displays saved DNG sequences.
: Right click the device name and choose “Quick Format” to reformat the connected device.

the process took a while but it did the trick. Thanks for the replay though.
