Modding Inspire for Speed?

I have cleaned up this thread. Please note.....

Forum rule #16:

‘16. For everyones safety we do not condone the manipulation of the manufacturers software or firmware and may (at our discretion), delete without warning any content that promotes this type of activity.’

Generic discussion (as the OP started) is fine - specific details/URL’s/Videos on ‘How to’ are not.

Thank You

You could have just removed the videos that he posted, you didn't have to delete everyone else's posts too (that didn't breach any of your rules).
And rule number 9......

9. Public discussion about moderation or moderator decisions is not allowed. If a moderator deletes or edits one of your posts and you disagree with the action, contact the moderator concerned.

Sorry, but I could see which way this thread was heading which was getting into specifics on how to Hack/Modify/Manipulate proprietary firmware.

Depend on the job. I've had a few jobs shooting car stunts and chases. 65km/h is not enough for the chases especially when the weather is windy.
That doesn’t sound like a speed problem. It sounds much more like a power delivery problem,Like your props are slowing down when they are put under a strong load. I am not saying there is any thing wrong with the bird,so maybe you should look at the props.Maybe a different pitch,Just the slightest change can yield huge gains or losses.Basically the electric motors are slowing down due to drag,I assume you are using the more powerful battery. I would also use the DJI composite props. I don’t know how advanced you are so I am hesitant to talk about real power mods. But good luck look at simple things first.

Looks you are too advanced!

To use Dji stock composite props and to change their pitch?
Did you read the OP question?

If you haven't flown I1 with modified fw for adding speed then don't post here.

Yes I did on my I1. Changed tilt angles, speed up/down, NFZ, max altitude. I had it on FW 1.2 and moved up to 1.3. It is a beast now, I need to check how to tame the control stick curves to make it less responsive!! I'm afraid to tax the batteries a bit too much tough, especially on fast ascent (10m/s). I have also ordered carbon fiber props as I don't trust DJI locks with such vertical speed. I'm ordered an X5 and I hope I will not need to upgrade the firmare again...

first i do not condone anyone modding any drone, these are my drones and i will do what i want.....period!!!!, i am faa licenced, and follow the rules, these are for testing purposes, FW manipulation only seems to fall on DJI drones, i have many drones that are hand built, and you can edit your own FW, as well as store bought drones, like hubsan and HDR solo, you can adjust all settings you want
second, you cannot use any assistance software for inspire ones and phantom 3 series. it is all done with SD card, so dont waist time trying
three the hackers or OG or modders have gone in hiding......LOL, some times it all the bull that creates problems, as my grandpa said, the PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING....... so please dont ask about the mods or hacks, use the internet for more than porn!!!!

i have a inspire 1 that flies almost 65 with the wind and 48 into the wind, i use 1.8 fw, yes its H#$%ed, me and many others has tested it in many ways and i have the best of all FW, dont ask, i dont give it out

i also have made a 35 minute flight................finally, 25 with X5 camera........watch battery mods, some are a big waist of money, and dont do anything but add way to much weight

i would not recommend to beginner pilots, because it take at least 100 ft to come to a stop, unless you pull hard back on that stick and take control, and also people tend to forget, the inspire one is a antique and does not have all the safety features that new DJI drones have, but in the right hands or 2, its a beautiful majestic drone,

to all the drone NAZI's i bid you
farewell.......................
