Just picked up the 1s pro and bolth battery's were junk couldn't charge them or update them. Tb47s.

Pop the lid off the battery, disconnect the connector you see there for 30 sec or so, reconnect, pop lid back on and see if it charges.

Technology advances and old techniques are superseded.
What was appropriate to drive a Model T isn't going to be right for your new car.
Have a look at the offset motors on your Inspire - they allow you to descend vertically (and not necessarily slowly either).
The design engineers at DJI are pretty good at their job.

What is the led indicator saying on the battery?

Bolth batts are less than 20 % the app says we need a minimum of 50% to update firmwear. We sent them back for replacements, hopefully we get them tomorrow. It's really frustrating. We had our bird modified to carry a flir cam, the down time is costly. We had a lot of hassle getting it to canada. Right now we are one of the only ones that has something like this in Canada, at least that's what flir told us.
