When using the standalone GPS module for dynamic home point AND a CrystalSky, DJI does not make a recommendation for where to mount the GPS part of the module. DJI DOES state emphatically not to block the top of the CrystalSky with anything because it will interfere with built in CS GPS. Since DHP is not optimized for the built in CS GPS, what is the best practice for a mounting point for the external GPS when engaging in DHP operations?

@Jeff48 It's best to mount it on the upper most portion of your controller/monitor setup with no upward obstructions (clear view to the sky).

Below is a video from our buddy Wolfgang at AirWolf here in LA where he shows where you should be mounting.

Thanks guys. So this applies regardless of whether I’m using a CS or any other device, right?

Left side top of the CS. Middle is where the Internal CS resides. Right side would block the fan vent. So far, so good.
