2 X Thunder Power 25C 2700's or
1 X Multistar LiHV 5200

get about 30 min to 10% on an I1 w/X3. Someone above tried a Multistar 6600 LiHV and got 33 min I believe but I haven't tried that personally.
Damon, have a question to you, I changed the TP2700 with TP820 charger , by the following setting:
1C, 6S, 2700mAh, 22.2v, and in the and I got 4.19 v on each cell, which brings me to a total voltage of 25.14V, instead of 22.2, did I blow up my battery? Is it good or did I made a mistake on the settings?
Thanks in advance.

:) No you are good.

Even though the LiPo ratings for 6S say 22.2V, cells charge to 4.2V each when full. 3.3V is considered "empty" as it were. Normal.

For those of you who wires straight to the aircraft, does it make a difference if you turn the DJI battery on before connecting your aux lipo pack or the other way around?

Also, anyone have a recommendation to substitute the MultiStar LiVh 6s 6600mah battery? I can't find it in stock and would like a single battery solution instead of two in parallel or series.

This is my solution, adding a switch to switching on and off.

I will be testing the TP 7000mah LiHV today or tomorrow. I'll post back.

There is any micro switch that can be controlled while flying, that's can be a better solution?
Is there any?
The reason why I am having this, is because it will turn on the bird once the external are pluged even the main isn't switch on ( you will get error and ask you to switch your bird off ) .By not to having this issue I decided to have a switch.
What is that added frame on the arms of your bird? Is that where you attach your lipo packs?
It was a grabbing bracket before, but I changed form a round tube type to a U-Channel type so the battery can site tide and lay on to the flat surface. Attached more Pics for you.
I will drill some holes on the main tube to allow the extension cable to go though once it is out of warranty ( Just like Phatzo said "Hands off anything with warranty" ) to made it looks better.

Sequnce are;
1. Connect everythings ( but check the 0-I status on the switch ),
2. Turn it on with the main ( TB48 ),
3. Check the important setting once the self test are finished,
4. Switch on the External and check the Cell Votage before it fly off the ground.

5. When it is landed, Switch the External off first and then is the main.
( check the actual cell votage Before the External switch off and Once the Ext are off you should compare the Mains Cell Votage ),
6. After checking the Mains Cell Votage, check the Tempeture also ( you might find some hints ),
than turn everything off..............................

Thanks for the pics! Super helpful.

Regarding the switch, I guess we just turn on the bird first, let it do its thing, then connect the aux battery and disconnect it before turning on the bird. The switch looks like it's on your battery though?

As others before me, I want to applaud Ralph and his FlyHighUSA. Great service - both in delivery of equipment ordered and in personal attention ( as in advice and answering questions). Many thanks Ralph!

Can I ask where you purchased the U-Channel piece? I ordered the STO hand catch as well, but want to use it for battery carrying like you did.

I was using a square Carbon Firber Tube and cut it in a half( this is how I get the U-Channel form ). Than cut the edges to as thin as possible to prevent side wind to blow on a large surface .....
