Dual Controller - OK to Use Apple iOS on one and Android on the other?

I am just starting up a dual controller system. I'm using an Apple mini-iPad for the flight controller, but need a second tablet for the camera controller. I'm considering buying an Android op sys tablet for the camera controller as they're cheaper (and slightly larger ones are available). Anybody know if this will work fine, or cause problems?

Yep.
I prefer iOS devices because of the higher performance, but it will work fine.
