Does any has a sort of advice? I'm trying everything and a further one won't kill...

I've read through all pages, in case someone is reading from the end here is what worked for me:
1) downloaded bin zip file, copied only bin file (not PDF) to blank sd card that was included with Inspire.
2) put card in inspire (AC), turned on inspire. Did NOT turn on RC. Did NOT turn on iPad. AC beeped a pattern of 4 beeps (D-D-D-D), then after 5 minutes changed to a different pattern of long and short beeps, similar to SOS morse code. You will notice a difference. New pattern signifies it's done, you have to manually turn off AC and restart it. I turned it off before starting RC updates.
3) resulting SD card had one txt file, I did not delete it before sticking it into card reader, and then attaching that reader to master remote. Turned on remote, remote took about 40 seconds to start updating, then beeped for about 5 minutes, then stopped beeping and turned green.
4) resulting SD card now has two txt files, one from AC and one from RC. This time, I deleted both (after saving copy to compare later).
5) inserted SD card with original bin (I did not reformat, I only deleted two txt files) into card reader, and then card reader to second RC (which was brand new, had not set to slave yet). Turned on RC, 5 minutes later, it was updated.

Key point here is that I didn't bother with connecting AC to RC's, and didn't use pilot app. Sounds like a lot of confusion happens when people try to do so since the RC won't connect to an updated AC.

After the fw update and IMU calculation, went out for a first flight (I've never had a Phantom, practiced with a few quads like the Blade Nano). I was truly impressed with how easy the Inspire is to fly!

Mauro - since both of your RC's won't update, and the AC did, I think your problem lies in the SD card or reader. If only one of the RC's updated, I would suspect it was a defective RC. I doubt both are defective. To be clear, you are trying to update the RC with everything else (AC, iPad) off, right? What kind of SD card and reader are you trying? Does the RC ever start beeping (meaning it's trying to update), and then turns red or is it red from the beginning and nothing else happens?

Rc have different attitude when i start them. the only common things is that the ipad report "disconnected" and that they do not react at the inserction of a usb drive or mini SD card reader the update do not even start and RCs go in time out after a while.

I seem to be stuck with a high dollar door stop as well. The first time I started the upgrade on the AC, the four beep pattern started. After about 10 minutes it changed to the 3 beep pattern. I let it go for about 10 more minute, then powered it off. I looked at the Txt file and it stated "canceled". I updated the RC and the process seemed to go correctly. The blue light came on, after a few minutes the green light came on. I power cycled the RC and powered up the AC and nothing. The AC has a white "yellowish" fast flashing strobe. The RC is red and then starts blinking red and beeping after a few minutes. I tried re-linking the RC to the AC, nothing. I have tried reinstalling firmware on both AC and RC with brand new SD and USB. When I try upgrading the AC again, it does nothing but have the fast white flashing strobe, no sounds. I have left it on for about 40 minutes and no change. Any Ideas?

i have tried that too. Thanks
Download the firmware again onto a clean flashdrive. Double click the folder and make sure the BIN file alone is in the root directory. Insert into the USB port of the RC and wait for it to begin beeping. Should work.

Well the RC AND AC won't communicate because one is updated and the other isn't. I wish you didn't update the RC before the AC. My AC wasn't updating until I connected my tablet to the RC and starting the dji app. Then prompted me to begin updating on the tablet. Make sure the BIN file is in the root directory of the sd card. Not the folder, the bin file only.

I did update the AC prior to the RC. I have a two controller set up, I changed the slave RC to the master and was able to link up with AC. It appears it was just an issue with the original master RC. I still had the last firmware version so I loaded that on the flash drive and it loaded that fine on the malfunctioning RC. I am now loading the newest version, hoping it works. I believe DJI was forced to get this update out to quickly due to the phantom landing on the white house lawn. There is now a 25km dead zone from the center of Washington DC. Hopefully DJI does a better job of beta testing upgrades in the future.

Well, the retry on the upgrade has just failed again. The logs show "Fail, step:3". I will try going back to last firmware again, and download a fresh version of the new firmware. I will also try formatting the USB drive between upgrades.

After two tries I was able to get the RC back to V01.02.00.16, but it won't communicate with the AC as described before. I am now trying a brand new USB drive, with a fresh downloaded firmware. The beeping is insane!!!!

SUCCESS!!! To be honest, not exactly sure what made the difference. But I have the AC and both RCs working properly. Calibrating IMU now and will fly this afternoon.

Mauro573, If you have the previous version of the firmware, re-install that back on the RC. If you need it, here you go. V01.02.00.16 Firmware

After restoring to this version, power up the RC with the tablet. That seamed to have made a difference with mine. Then follow the process of upgrading with a clean USB drive.

By the looks of this I agree, I think it's an issue with the card reader. I had the same problem and even though the card reader "powered on" when connected to the RC it would not update. Instead I connected to the gimbal attached the Inspire using the supplied USB cable and it worked fine.

Well, let me begin the story.

Started the upgrade my inspire1 on 03/02 at 1:00pm. Took 45 min to upgrade and then sucess (according to TXT file). After then I had the issue with RC that online support soves by sending me the gs_odfm.bin.

After that, my problems became really big.

When the pilot app starts it says that I have the latest firmware BUT an system error is triggered saying "Aircraft update error: Solution - Try to update again" BUT, leaves me NO option to redo the upgrade again.

I have been hours with the online support yesterday and finally the attendant gives up and said that I have to send an email with images and files to them. I did that..

Until now. No answers.

The strange thing is thatthe hidden LOGS generated when the failure occurs contains:

The devices not detected in this case, based on the logs are the mainboard and the bettery, what explains why my battery always shows 0% on the pilot app.
The remote controller is updated and i can even see the image from the camera

Can anybody help me. Im really desperate now. Dji says that i should return the bird but I am in Brazil. That's the big issue.

Been flying on latest firmware and differing to other posters I seem to have no issues.Flies straight and true with no drop out or other issues.

If anything my video footage has considerably improved-in fact pin sharp.

Since new firmware I have changed out Samsung S4 for Nvidia Shield. Surely using new shield is not the cause of improvement in video performance.

The only thing that makes sense is that the firmware has eliminated shakes/jello/vibration etc?
