Setting waypoints for use with two different drones?

I have a Phantom 4 and will have my Inspire Pro delivered this week (feels like Christmas Eve).

If I set the waypoints on a controller for a certain route with the Phantom, will the route be available for me to fly when I hook up the Inspire to it? I'm looking to do the setup with the Phantom and save the battery life in the Inspire for the actual shooting. Sorry if this is a dumb question.....Thanks.

Good question. I think the answer is no, but I could be wrong. I think the points are set within the remote. Even if they are stored in the app (cloud?) I don't think they would be transferrable. The app recognizes the AC. I used to have both the X3 and X5 camera and when I turned on the bird, the app recognized the X3 as an Inspire 1 and with the X5 it saw the bird as an Inspire Pro.
There is one way to find out though...... try it!!

Works in Litchi for me using my Inspire, Matrice100, and P4.
