Can I disable the recording button on the master remote?

My master remote has a loose connection of some sort. Every time I touch the left side, it engages the Record Button, so recording is constantly starting and stopping.

Does anybody know how I can disable this button? I looked in the Pilot App, but I only saw options for the C1 and C2 buttons on the bottom of the remote.

I clearly have a bum remote. The problem doesn't happen on my other remote. And I made it go away for a few weeks with a nice bump on the master remote.

But I am so loath to send it in to DJI for repair, as that would leave me with a single remote for 6+ weeks.
