FLIR Vue thermal cam

Ok let's get back on the subject.

OI should be getting my Vue this week.

Drone horder what lens size did you get.
13mm fast. I looked at the comparisons and liked the idea of a compromise. did not what the field of view too narrow for search and rescue or finding hotspots at a fire.

Oh believe me I've looked at the Alta. The Titan X8 has much longer flights and lifting capacity on paper. I'd like to see a bit more proof in their numbers first however.
So True. Long Flight times in a truly functional platform are some times like Big Foot... talked about but rarely seen! While I believe these guys that they got good times in a hover with no wind etc... I would really like to see it in action with acceptable responsiveness and maneuverability.

Well the 336 didn't come in a 19mm the most it got was 13mm.

Resolution Lens Options:

640x512
9 mm; 69° x 56°
13 mm; 45° x 37°
19 mm; 32° x 26°

336x256
6.8 mm; 45° x 35°
9 mm; 35° x 27°
13 mm; 25° x 19°

Wow.. fell asleep on a drone.. and left the laptop on.
sorry man, thought you bought the 640. my bad

No worries brother. I would have liked the 640 but for the price and performance the 336 is a better bargain. Though later on down the road I might get a TAU2 for the X4 and keep the 336 for the AntiGravity.

We'll see how this project progresses.

I saw this on FB today. After looking at it I can certainly feel that it would be difficult and a PITA for a 2/3 axis gimbal to be used by the iI1.
