Is that really unique to the Osmo, though? Don't even higher-end DSLRs record auto-focus sounds when using the mics? I know for-sure that mid-range ones do. Kind of difficult to eliminate percussive movement.

there is a quiet mode like the ronin m. also you can plug in a small shotgun mic that should help a lot.

That makes sense, hope one day new technology for motor may solve the problem completely
