I'll let the battery experts weigh in on whether or not 8% is sufficient to recalibrate the batteries. I think it's fine, because you're basically following the recalibration procedure outlined in the manual.

In the future, when the landing gear lowers and the craft starts to descend to land, if you throttle up slightly, you can prevent it from landing. There's a sweet spot on the throttle that will keep you at a stable hover so you can drain your batts down to 5%. Once there, throttle down or release the throttle and she'll land on her own.

We couldn't downgrade either of our controllers. The aircraft appeared to downgrade successfully though.

You will need to find and run the gs_ofdm.bin to reset the controllers and then install the desired firmware.

Thanks for the support and I've been real busy lately.

Anyways I've been real hesitant to install the latest firmware purely based on the result I got from the last one .

This time I tried to be more cautious and predictable in the update.

Like last time all is well on the update but it did took a little longer to finish it.

Low and behold I have some really weird results again from the update. This time three unusual update results popped up.

Here are the copy of the results as I managed to document them as they appeared.

I should have done that. I risked my job and doing this update went wrong.

yea ive read so many horror stories and considering there is usually a major bug in almost every version i havent updated since january, lol! trying to find a good stable version to update to now though as im in a beta test for a 3rd party app but it wont work with my old firmware.

I'm guessing it's still there in the go app under academy. ..

i hate video instructions, i much prefer text as i find it much faster to read and comprehend rather than watching a video where you have to sit and wait for things to happen before you get to the next step, but maybe its just me,
