SSD Module shuts off when hot swapping SSD media

We have two I2s w/stock remotes. One with CS monitors and one with iPads.
Since the latest FW update we noticed that when hot swapping SSD media to a fresh card, the SSD recording modules will shut off and need to be turned back on in the App. This is the case with both drones.
All hardware is on the very latest FW.
Anyone having this issue as well ?

...I thought you weren't supposed to insert/remove the SSD with it powered up?
