Motors wont start after 1.3 firmware update

When I start the motors outdoors, I am getting repeated notices for compass calibration and when calibrating, it says that there is a lot of interference after the second rotation. If starting the motors indoors, it says IMU initializing and I still cant start the motors. Advanced IMU calibration
is successful but doesn't fix the problem. Please help. Thanks

Did you update the RC and the Batteries as well?

I found out that it was metal/magnetic interference. I went to an more open area and it works, but I feel its a lot more sensitive now. I would say out of 10 locations i tried to launch, 6 or 7 times it would not start up. And some of these locations are at least 10 feet away from metal objects, such as fences and walkways. is this normal???

This update worked GREAT for me but as soon as the .06 FW = Bricked - had to send it in.
