New fw v1.5.0.30 released now - 07.12.2015

You can only have 1 bin file on the SD card too. And if this is your first firmware upgrade from factory, I remember that mine took what felt like aaaages and had me worried. I think I even shut it down at one point to check the SD card log file to make sure it was working - I don't recommend doing that unless it's your last resort.

What SD card did you use and is the .bin file in the parent folder?

Ive tried the 16gb that came with the inspire, and now I'm trying a 64gb Sandisk. Both drives were formatted and put only the .bin file. I'm now trying v1.3 in hopes i can downgrade, the last version on there was 1.04

This is the absolute worst timing too, i got hired for my first job and needed the latest version to use drone deploy for the job and now this....

Is that whilst it's updating? Did it successfully update?
No it did not. This is the last txt file i have from the SD card before i re-attempted at reformatting.

Result: Success.

I did everything to the letter, RC off, AC first then batteries. Here is the report.

The only thing in question is I used a Mac to put the file on the original 16gb card. The mac's have hidden files if you look at the card on a window's PC. I even deleted the DCIM (pictures) folder first.

Hi Dennis

Forgive me if I am misunderstanding, but the last line of the log clearly says Results: Success against 1.5.0.30. This means success to me. Apart from not formatting your MicroSD card with your Mac, you can ignore the hidden files.

Yes, success. But no camera view. I got it to connected briefly with the P3P selected but no cam view. Then tried Inspire 1 connection no luck. Couldn't connect P3P any more. Tried different cables. Gave up and sent RC to DJI in Ca.

I did find this on another forum. Wish I had seen and tried but box was already in FedEx truck and gone.
DJI Inspire Controller

to get your camera view back you should of try this:

3. Press the C1 + C2 + Trigger (photo) buttons and keep them pressed and TURN OFF the controller.

4. By still keeping pressed the C1 + C2 + Trigger (photo) buttons TURN ON the controller.

Maybe someone can try.

Where did you get this info? First time I see it.

I see no reply to confirm the trick fixed the issue.

Is your problem with the camera view only, the RC link with AC (red light on the RC) or the app with the RC? What tablet are you using? If it's an Android, you should make sure USB debug mode is on.

Did you try this?: Inspire 1-Linking the Remote Controller - DJI Wiki
Camera view and control gone. iPad Air 2. The RC did connect to the aircraft because I could move the camera and even put it in travel mode before I shipped the RC which points to a bad usb port.

Thanks DJI for smooth the pitch option and also keep making downgradeable firmware upgrades !!!!

Now if all this works ok i could said Inspire 1 is close to a perfect working machine.
