What SD card did you use and is the .bin file in the parent folder?
No it did not. This is the last txt file i have from the SD card before i re-attempted at reformatting.Is that whilst it's updating? Did it successfully update?
Looking at the log I would ask whether you had the RC switched off? Also if you turn on 'hidden files' there is a more detailed log in the folder MISC/LOG. The update should take 13-14mins of DDDD so patience is required.No it did not.
I did everything to the letter, RC off, AC first then batteries. Here is the report.What SD card did you use and is the .bin file in the parent folder?
Hi DennisI did everything to the letter, RC off, AC first then batteries. Here is the report.
========== 2015.11.04 08:39:59 =====================
Packet: WM610_FW_V01.04.00.10_fact.bin
Result: Abort.
The firmware on the SD card is identical to or older than the current firmware on the aircraft.
========== 2014.01.01 00:00:04 remo-con disconnect======
Packet: WM610_FW_V01.05.00.30.bin
Upgrading ...
Result: Success.
The only thing in question is I used a Mac to put the file on the original 16gb card. The mac's have hidden files if you look at the card on a window's PC. I even deleted the DCIM (pictures) folder first.
Hi Dennis
Forgive me if I am misunderstanding, but the last line of the log clearly says Results: Success against 1.5.0.30. This means success to me. Apart from not formatting your MicroSD card with your Mac, you can ignore the hidden files.
to get your camera view back you should of try this:
3. Press the C1 + C2 + Trigger (photo) buttons and keep them pressed and TURN OFF the controller.
4. By still keeping pressed the C1 + C2 + Trigger (photo) buttons TURN ON the controller.
Maybe someone can try.
Where did you get this info? First time I see it.
Camera view and control gone. iPad Air 2. The RC did connect to the aircraft because I could move the camera and even put it in travel mode before I shipped the RC which points to a bad usb port.I see no reply to confirm the trick fixed the issue.
Is your problem with the camera view only, the RC link with AC (red light on the RC) or the app with the RC? What tablet are you using? If it's an Android, you should make sure USB debug mode is on.
Did you try this?: Inspire 1-Linking the Remote Controller - DJI Wiki
I did try a iPad Mini and iPhone 6+ with same results.Camera view and control gone. iPad Air 2. The RC did connect to the aircraft because I could move the camera and even put it in landing mode before I shipped the RC which points to a bad usb port.
I did try a iPad Mini and iPhone 6+ with same results.
Thanks, I'll be happy just to see it fly.I wish you to get your bird back in order asap. A rule of thump with this machine is to never loose your temper when something goes wrong!
